Joan Laporta has addressed the Barcelona assembly as the club has to vote on signing a sponsorship deal with Spotify.
He was asked if Barcelona socios (club members) would get a free subscription to Spotify's Premium plan.
"No, Barça socios will not have a free subscription to Spotify premium," Laporta replied. "We're looking at what other benefits we can find.
"Barcelona socis will have exclusive discounts in subscription plans and other experiences when using Spotify.
"Spotify have said they will develop an app in Catalan. Catalan is Barça's official language."
