"David Alaba will play the Champions League final. He will play, 100 per cent. We didn't want to risk him today. We need his experience," Carlo Ancelotti has told Movistar.
Alaba was initially expected to get some game time against Real Betis but didn't even make the squad list.
The centre-back has been unavailable since April 20 when Real Madrid faced Osasuna in La Liga.
Real Madrid face Liverpool in the Champions League final on May 28.
