Barcelona are ready to hand Memphis Depay a new contract at the end of the season, according to Sport.
The club are planning this proactive approach given that Memphis' contract will expire in 2023.
Xavi wants Memphis to stay at Barca but it's not just up to the manager. If the club signs someone like Robert Lewandowski they may have to sell the Dutchman.
This season, Memphis has scored 12 goals and 2 assists, making him Barca's top scorer.
The Blaugrana could easily sell him for €20m.
