Barcelona Secure 2nd Place Spot After 0-0 Draw With Getafe

 

The match between Barcelona and Getafe ended in a 0-0 draw. This puts the Catalans at 73 points and guarantees them a finish in second spot. Real Madrid are the league champions.

Besides qualifying for the Champions League - which happened a while ago - Barca has now ensured their place in the next year's Spanish Super Cup.

It is the third year in a row that the Catalans miss out on the league title. However, we were in the 9th spot at some point this season, and finishing in second is a decent result.
