The Athletic reports Chelsea are set to let Kante leave for a cut-price fee this summer amid interest from Man United.
His contract is up at the end of next season, and Blues boss Thomas Tuchel wants to switch up his midfield.
The 31 year-old struggled with injury this past season.
And Tuchel is willing to let Kante go for a reduced fee to do so.
