Cristiano Ronaldo Misses Out On Premier League Player Of The Year Nomination

A list of players nominated for the 2021/22 Premier League Player of the Season award has been revealed.

Cristiano Ronaldo, who has won two Player of the Month awards this season (the most out of everyone) has not been included.

Player of the Year 2022 nominees:

Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool)

Jarrod Bowen (West Ham)

Joao Cancelo (Manchester City)

Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City)

Bukayo Saka (Arsenal)

Mohamed Salah (Liverpool)

Son Heung-min (Tottenham)

James Ward-Prowse (Southampton)

The winner of the award will be decided by combining a fan poll with votes of all 20 Premier League club captains and a panel of football experts.
