How Chelsea could pocket millions from Real Madrid's La Liga triumph

A clause in Eden Hazard's contract reportedly enables Chelsea to earn some extra money each time Real Madrid won La Liga.

The English team are expected to pocket between €9-18m for Real Madrid's La Liga triumph.

In 2020, when Real Madrid won La Liga with Hazard in the team, Los Blancos had to pay the English club some more money.

According to a reliable source, the deal that brought Hazard to Real Madrid will cost much more than the €115m quoted. Some sources claim it will get to €140m if Real Madrid keeps winning titles with Hazard in the team.

However, Chelsea may not earn a dime, if the clause is based on performance and appearances.

Hazard only featured in 17 La Liga games this season, scoring once. He has not played for Real Madrid since March due to injury.
