Klopp Shares What He Told Thiago After FA Cup Win

Thiago Alcantara had a great game for Liverpool in the FA Cup final. He completed 90 passes (most in the game) and controlled the midfield once again in a big game.

After the game, Jurgen Klopp shared with the media what he told Thiago during the celebrations: "After the game, I said to Thiago, ‘If I had known what a player you are, I would have signed you four years earlier!’

"He said, ‘You taught me running!’ - I take that, that’s fine, that’s fine."

Thiago is enjoying the best spell of his Liverpool career so far. He has (touch wood) been injury-free since returning early in March and hopefully, he can keep up the good form as the Champions League final looms ahead.
