La Liga president Tebas: 'Barca cannot sign Lewandowski'

La Liga president Javier Tebas has continued his tirade at Barcelona.

In a recent interview (h/t Relevo), Tebas poured cold water on Barca's pursuit of Robert Lewandowski.

"As of today, Barca cannot sign Lewandowski," Tebas said.

"Barca already knows what they have to do. I don't know who or what they will sell.

"They must earn more and sell assets. Their pantry needs to be filled. They have it empty while Real Madrid have it full."

Barcelona have made Lewandowski their top transfer target for the coming season. However, the transfer remains a complicated one - Barca are low on funds and Bayern Munich are adamant to sell the striker.

Still, Tebas is not Barca's spokesman, which begs the question.
