Lewandowski has just over a year to run on his Bayern contract and is interested to join Barcelona this summer. Nonetheless, Bayern is unwilling to lose the striker.
Lewandowski's agent, Pini Zahavi, told BILD: "Last year I asked the Bayern board: 'What do you think of a contract extension for Lewandowski?' Answer: silence.
"They didn't say yes, no, maybe...nothing.
"I hope that Bayern will change their decision [to keep Robert]."
