Liverpool 'in talks' to get record-breaking shirt sponsorship deal

Liverpool are 'in talks' to extend a sponsorship deal with Standard Chartered, the Daily Mail reports. The current agreement expires in 2023.

The Reds are looking to receive around £80m per season. If signed, it would be the most lucrative sponsorship contract in football.

Liverpool are also actively looking for other options if the contract with Standard Chartered is not extended.

The British banking company currently pay Liverpool £40m per year. The Reds want to double their money, considering they are among the most popular football clubs in the world.
