Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is serious about a move for Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante.

The Guardian says United are considering a transfer approach for Kante.

United boss Erik ten Hag wants to add some steel to the team's midfield, and reckons Kante's the man for the job.

Kante has a year left on his contract and United wonder if Chelsea are willing to let him leave this summer.

However, the Red Devils will face resistance from Blues boss Thomas Tuchel as it's unlikely he'll be willing Kante leave without a fight, the report adds.
