Mitchell Van Der Gaag 'reaches Full Agreement' To Become Ten Hag's Assistant

Mitchell van der Gaag has 'reached a full agreement' to join Manchester United this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The Dutchman, who currently works as Erik ten Hag's no.2 at Ajax, will continue as one of the 52-year-old's assistant at Old Trafford next season.

Steve McClaren is also expected to become Ten Hag's assistant manager at Man United in the coming weeks despite some initial pushback from the club chiefs.

Van der Gaag was present during a meeting between John Murtough and Ten Hag in Amsterdam on Thursday, as per the Telegraph, running through latest transfer plans.
