No Tchouameni as Real Madrid decide against signing a midfielder

Despite their interest in Aurelien Tchouameni, Real Madrid have decided not to sign a midfielder this summer, Marca's reputable Jose F. Diaz reports. The Whites never submitted a bid for him.

The club believes that the current midfielders are enough and they don't need reinforcement in that area. If Dani Ceballos leaves in the summer, academy player Antonio Blanco will take his spot.

Tchouameni knows that if he wants to play for Real Madrid, he'd need to wait until 2023.

This term so far, Tchouameni has played 48 games for Monaco, scoring five goals and providing two assists.
