OFFICIAL: Man City confirm deal to sign Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund

Manchester City have confirmed an agreement with Borussia Dortmund over the summer transfer of Erling Haaland to the Etihad.

While the statement on City's website states that the deal is 'subject to finalising terms with the player', everything has been agreed already.

Therefore, the 21-year-old is now set to officially become a Man City player when the Premier League summer transfer window reopens on July 1.

Dortmund are expected to earn about €75 million for the transfer of the 21-year-old with Pep Guardiola's side seemingly triggering the striker's release clause.

Manchester United were also linked with a move for Haaland but the Norwegian's representatives and his father Alf-Inge Haaland pushed for a move to the Etihad to work under Guardiola.
