The English Premier League Board has today approved the long-awaited takeover of Chelsea Football club led by Todd Boehly's consortium.
“The purchase remains subject to the U.K. Government issuing the required sale licence and the satisfactory completion of the final stages of the transaction”.
Due to the takeover delay, the club was hit with sanctions which impede the club from making any sought transactions, players' contract renewal, sale of players and also acquisition also.
