"I like both [Real Madrid and Liverpool]: I can watch Spanish games and English games. It's different to play in Spain and it's different to play in England, but at the end, for me, it's just a matter of adaptation," AS Monaco star Aurelien Tchouameni has told CNN, as per the Mirror.
Tchouameni has been heavily linked with both Champions League finalists. However, he is said to be much closer to Real Madrid as things stand.
The 22-year-old reportedly has told his close friend and France teammate Jules Kounde that he's going to play for Real Madrid next season.
The midfielder was seen as the ideal fit for Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool side but the Reds will be likely be looking elsewhere now that the deal might not happen.
