Uefa Fine Man City €14,000 For 'Improper Behaviour'

The Champions League tie between Manchester City and Atletico Madrid was filled with drama.

Of course, the first leg ended 0-0 but City eventually won 1-0 to progress to the semi-final.

As per the BBC, City has been fined €14,000 for 'improper conduct' by their players during both legs.

Images of Jack Grealish's locks being messed with and both sides clashing after Felipe's red card still haunt the memory. However, it's unfair to fine City for the controversy as Atletico too played a role in it.

The BBC adds that no other punishment has been mentioned for the quarter-final tie.

The city was beaten in the semi-final by Real Madrid, with Pep Guardiola once again failing to win the elite competition.
