Aston Villa boss Steven Gerrard has advised Liverpool attackers Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah not to leave Anfield this summer.
The pair are about to enter the final year of their contracts.
Both Mane and Salah played the full 90 minutes of Liverpool's 1-0 defeat to Real Madrid in Saturday's Champions League final.
Liverpool legend and current Aston Villa manager Gerrard said on BT Sport after the final: “Salah has already said that he is going to be here next year, I know there is a bit of noise around Mane.
“But why would you want to leave this Liverpool team because you know that they are going to be competitive in the business end of the season?"
