Vinicius Is Set For Pay Raise As He's Close To Agreeing On A New Contract

Vinicius Junior is close to signing a new contract with Real Madrid, Mario Cortegana (5 stars) reports.

The club want to extend the youngster's deal until 2028, and a release clause of €1b will be set.

Vini is also set for a massive salary increase. He will be earning €10m net per season on his new contract.

At the moment, the Brazilian is one of the lowest earners at Real Madrid. He's next to the likes of Dani Ceballos, Jesus Vallejo and Andriy Lunin.

The financial aspect is not important to Vinicius and he only thinks about continuing at the Santiago Bernabeu. However, the Whites want to repay him for his loyalty and good performance.

This term so far, the 21-year-old has recorded 21 goals and 20 assists in 50 games for Los Blancos.
