£500,000+ spent for new school and hospital, 4G internet for everyone: what Mane is doing to turn his village into a town

Sadio Mane is currently working hard to turn his village in Senegal, Bambaly, into a well-functioning town.

The Liverpool winger has funded the building of a new hospital for £455,000. He’s also spent over £200,000 to build a new school.

Mane is also paying families in the village €70 (45,831 CFA Franc) each month. He’s also providing high-speed 4G internet for them.

Sadio is also providing laptops and $400 each to the best-performing students of the Bambaly High School to help with their education. He’s also giving free sportswear to kids in his village.

The 31-year-old is also building a new fuel station as well as a post office to help modernize his village into a town.

Mane might be on the verge of leaving Liverpool, but things like this means he’ll always be recognized as a legend among the fans.
