Arsenal Boss Arteta Upset With London-us Transfer Strategy

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is upset with the slow progress of their market work.

The Gunners have been linked with several big name targets since the end of the season, but are yet to bring anyone through the door.

And Arteta feels there's a breakdown between London and the US as they attempt to get deals done.

The Daily Mail says the board are insisting that all major transactions are approved by the American ownership, which Arteta fears could cost them the chance to sign top transfer target Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City.

The Brazil striker has been up for sale for two months, but while Arsenal were quick to register their interest, terms both with City and the player have failed to be reached.

City are seeking £50m to sell the striker.
