Barcelona 'begin official Kounde talks': 4 things they could offer Sevilla

Barcelona 'have begun official talks' with Sevilla over Jules Kounde, reports reliable Helena Condis.

Here is what the Catalans could offer during the negotiations.

1. Money

Barcelona reportedly won't go crazy here.

Sevilla want around €65m for their star centre-back – and this is the fee the Catalans are unwilling to pay. Offering much less wouldn't delight the Sevilla bosses, so Barca should still be ready to make a big offer.

2. Money plus Dest

The American wing-back's estimated value is €30m, so Barca could potentially offer €35m plus Dest which could be just enough to seal the deal.

It's a question if the Andalusians would love to have Dest on their team.

3. Money plus other players

There are plenty of those refusing to leave Barca this summer, but involving them in a swap deal could be a more viable option.

Players like Clement Lenglet, Oscar Mingueza, Riqui Puig and Martin Braithwaite should definitely be taken into account.

4. Loan bid

Something Sevilla would probably disagree on.

Anyway, offering them a one-season loan deal with an obligatory buyout option - even if it would stand at €70m - is worth a try.
