Barcelona Target Lewandowski To Go Awol From Bayern Munich Preseason Training

Robert Lewandowski is ready to go AWOL from Bayern Munich preseason training.

The Polish international wants to break off their relationship and head for Barcelona and the Camp Nou, and the Bavarian club are unwilling to let him leave.

The latest evidence of their hard battle is that the international refuses, as a form of pressure, to do pre-season with the German club, says Sport1.

The veteran player, who turns 34 in August, has made it clear that he wants to break his contract with Bayern, despite the fact that he has a deal until June 2023.

Lewandowski has decided not to take part in pre-season training with the German side, which starts in the second week of July.

He believes he is already out and wants to push even harder for a move, which has been applauded by those at Camp Nou.

They believe it clearly shows his desire to play for Barcelona and because this attitude could lower the price of his departure from Munich.
