Portuguese giants FC Porto have officially confirmed Fabio Vieira's transfer to Arsenal in a statement on social media.
The 22-year-old has signed a long-term contract with the Gunners. According to insider Pedro Sepulveda, Vieira will earn £46,000-a-week.
Porto's statement reads: "The deal is complete for an amount of €40 million, and of these, €5 million are dependent on achievement of sports objectives."
Arsenal are expected to officially announce the signing in the next few hours with the midfielder becoming Mikel Arteta's first major signing of the 2022 summer transfer window.
