Ceballos reveals one thing Ancelotti apologized for after last season

"Carlo Ancelotti told me to forgive him because I didn't play the minutes that I should have played," Dani Ceballos has told Deportes Cuatro.

In the 2021/22 season, Ceballos played just 338 minutes across 18 matches (2 starts) for Real Madrid. Granted that Dani missed the first half of the season due to injury, these numbers are still far from impressive.

Ceballos was the sixth-choice player in midfield, behind the KMC trio and Fede Valverde with Eduardo Camavinga.

However, it's no secret that Ancelotti held Ceballos in high regard, praising him multiple times during the season. However, the midfielder could be sold this summer.
