According to reports Chelsea are no longer prioritizing Jules Kounde signing.
Romero moves on to assert that Chelsea will not make a bid for the French defender. Instead, the Blues are keen on Matthjis De Ligt and other centre-backs.
Recently, De Ligt reportedly told Juventus he wants to leave. As for Kounde, the Frenchman is interested in playing for Barcelona.
Barcelona are now likely to compete for Kounde unopposed - that's if they can cough up at least €50m to sign the 23-year-old.
