Darwin Nunez Deal Done — Multiple Sources

Liverpool have signed Darwin Nunez from Benfica, according to reliable reporters Fabrizio Romano, Paul Joyce and Dominic King.

"Here we go confirmed for Darwin Núñez," Romano tweeted, using his trademark phrase. "Liverpool deal.

"Deal done yesterday, meeting in Portugal. Darwin now in Spain. Medicals tomorrow in England.

"Contract until 2028, six year deal. Liverpool will pay €80m fee plus €20m add ons. Never been in doubt."

Here's a bit more from Paul Joyce on the structure on the deal. He suggests slightly different figures to Romano.

"Darwin Nunez deal: £64m initial fee (75m euros), add-ons of £12.8m on appearances and £8.5m on team success," Joyce tweeted.

"Liverpool preparing medical tomorrow in expectation everything finalised today. Nunez currently in Madrid and would sign a six-year [contract]."

There has been no official announcement from Liverpool yet but it is expected soon.
