Divock Origi agrees to keep his University of Liverpool scholarship going even after Anfield exit

Divock Origi has left Liverpool, but his legacy will remain on Merseyside - and we don't just mean what he did on the pitch.

Last year, it was announced that Origi partnered with the University of Liverpool to offer the Divock Origi Scholarship.

Two students from the city of Liverpool would have their tuition fees covered (£9,250 per year) and get £3,000 for living costs.

Now, it has been confirmed that the scholarship will be kept in the next academic year as well, albeit for only one student.

Even without this contribution, Origi would have been honoured in Liverpool - but that is nothing short of a brilliant step for the AC Milan-bound striker.
