Eric Garcia speaks on potential Bernardo Silva arrival to Barcelona

"Bernardo Silva is a great player. He has incredible talent. He is capable of playing in various positions. There are fewer and fewer players like him," Eric Garcia has told Mundo Deportivo.

"He's a player I have a lot of love for as a person and, above all, a lot of admiration for what he does on the pitch. He's brutal.

"I always say that the best players should play for Barca. It is clear that Bernardo is one of them. But well, I don't know his contract situation and I can't comment on it," the Spaniard added.

Bernardo Silva could become Barcelona's new player if they sell Frenkie de Jong this summer.

The Portuguese is a really creative player who usually plays as a central midfielder. He registered 20 goal contributions in 50 appearances for Manchester City this season.

Garcia played alongside Bernardo between 2019 and 2021.
