Former Liverpool Forward Dirk Kuyt Appointed ADO Den Haag Manager

Former Liverpool and Netherlands forward Dirk Kuyt has been assigned manager of Dutch Club ADO Den Haag on a one-year deal.

It is the 41-year-old's first senior managerial job after his retirement in 2017 when he helped Feyenoord to the Eredivisie title. Previously, he coached Feyenoord's U19 side.

''ADO Den Haag is a fantastic club and I am delighted to be standing here today and starting this new challenge as head coach," said Kuyt.

"I am grateful for the warm welcome and the confidence that the club has expressed in me. The objective and ambition of the club appeal to me enormously and we will, therefore, together with all the people at the club, ensure that we realise that ambition."
