Pundit Ally McCoist has advised Gareth Bale to sign for Welsh club Glasgow Rangers because 'Scotland have the best golf courses.'

Bale has been known for his affinity for golf. He was once accused of spending hours playing golf while Madrid were sweating over preparations for a Champions League game.

However, Rangers are not among the clubs currently interested in Bale, as the Welshman begins his search for a new home.

The 32-year-old confirmed he was quitting Madrid after it became clear that Los Blancos will not extend his contract when it ends in July.
