'It's a lot of credit to how it's run': Gallagher heaps praise on Chelsea academy

Conor Gallagher spoke to TalkSPORT about the experience of being brought up in the Chelsea academy.

"It's a lot of credit to how it's run. The coaches - Neil Bath and Jim Fraser - and the way their philosophies and players they've produced is amazing.

"One of the guys at Palace said to me: 'Every player that's come through Chelsea I've met is always very humble and hard working, they all are'. That's a credit to Chelsea."

Gallagher joined the academy at the age of 8 and his whole family are Chelsea fans. His family home was a 10-minute drive from Chelsea's training ground. Fans sure will be looking forward to having him back in the Chelsea Blue next season.
