Juventus Hero Mauro Camoranesi Says Coach Max Allegri Needs Greater Backing

Camoranesi says Juventus need to give Allegri better players.

The Italy international says Allegri is only as strong as the players Juve are willing to give him.

Camoranesi said, “There seemed to be a project at least in place a couple of years ago, then Maurizio Sarri was brought in with players not suited to his ideas. He won the Scudetto, but that's only because all the other teams were struggling badly.

“A coach can only do so much. You need good players, Allegri is right when he says that."
