Kylian Mbappe accuses French Football Federation president of ignoring racial abuse

During the Euro 2020, Kylian Mbappe missed a penalty for France which almost led to him walking out on the national team.

Or at least, that's what French Football Federation president Noel Le Graet would like to believe.

However, the PSG forward has now shut down such rumours by revealing he'd faced racial abuse instead. And when brought up to higher authorities, they simply chose to look the other way.

Mbappe shared a snippet of the news and tweeted: "Yes, well, I explained to him [La Graet] that it was in relation to racism and NOT to the penalty. But he considered that there had been no racism..."

This is a serious accusation against the French football president with just a few months to go before the World Cup in Qatar.

It remains to be seen how this impacts the France team before preparing to defend the World Cup title.
