Rafael Marquez will be the new head coach of Barcelona B, report Relevo's Toni Juanmarti and Albert Roge.
Sergi Barjuan will take over a new role at the club, distancing himself from the Barca B job. He didn't really succeed in his current role, failing to reach the promotion playoffs with the third-tier side.
Rafa Marquez was the sporting director at Mexican side Atlas between 2018 and 2019. He was also a youth coach at Spanish club Alcala between 2020 and 2021.
The 43-year-old was part of Blaugrana between 2003 and 2010, winning 11 trophies with the club, including 2 Champions League cups.
