Liverpool Ready To Break Transfer Record For Darwin Nunez

According to Record, a Portuguese source, Liverpool are willing to pay €100m (£85m) for Darwin Nunez.

Doing that would break the Reds' transfer record, set in January 2018. Liverpool paid £75m for Virgil van Dijk.

Record are not particularly reliable though they do get things right at times. For example, they were among the first sources to report on Liverpool's interest in Luis Diaz back in January.

Nunez scored 34 goals and provided four assists in 41 matches across all competitions for Benfica this season.
