Manchester United new manager Erik ten Hag wants a squad overhaul this summer.
The Red Devils are struggling to complete transfer deals, as they chase the likes of Frenkie de Jong and Christian Eriksen.
According to the Mirror, United are ready to sell up to five defenders this summer.
Ten Hag wants to bring in a centre-half and possibly a full-back, while he may need to raise funds for other purchases as well.
The likes of Eric Bailly, Phil Jones, Axel Tuanzebe, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Brandon Williams are all on the chopping block.
The report suggests each of these players have been informed that they can leave United if a suitable offer arrives.
