From November to March, Paris Saint-Germain repeatedly asked Vinicius Junior not to extend his contract with Real Madrid, the highly-reliable Mario Cortegana reports.
In return, the Parisians were ready to offer the Brazilian a massive salary of €40m per year, a huge signing bonus and business opportunities in Qatar.
However, Vinicius never considered the offer as he felt valued at Real Madrid. Now, he is expected to extend his contract for four or five more years.
In the 2021/22 season, the 21-year-old scored 22 goals and provided 20 assists in 52 matches for Madrid.
