According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Napoli believe that they will keep Kalidou Koulibaly at the club despite his contract expiring already next summer.
At the moment, Barcelona are the club most interested in the centre-back, but Napoli are in no danger of losing him.
The Catalans are looking to sign another defender this season. However, Xavi prefers Jules Kounde and it appears that Koulibaly is the plan B.
In the 2021/22 season, the Senegalese recorded 3 goals and 3 assists in 34 matches for Napoli.
