Newcastle United are preparing to walk away from a deal with Reims striker Hugo Ekitike.
Sky Sports reports that negotiations over certain aspects of the transfer have proven "difficult".
PSG are also interested in the 20-year-old.
Should Ekitike move to Parc De Princes, Arnaud Kalimuendo would be allowed to leave.
Leeds are amongst several clubs who have been linked with striker Kalimuendo, who spent last season at Lens.
