One in favour, two reluctant: Barca veterans' stance on potential wage cuts revealed

Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba are reluctant to take further pay cuts, reports LaVanguardia.

Busquets plans to leave Barcelona in 2023; Alba would like to stay at the club until at least 2024.

Gerard Pique, in turn, could agree on another pay cut. We've recently explained how he could make around €80m in his next two years at Barca – agreeing on cutting his wages once again shouldn't be a big problem.

All the three players are among Barcelona's top earners right now. Reducing their salary would help the club sign new players.
