Petr Cech assess Thomas Tuchel job at Chelsea last season

Petr Cech has been effusive about Thomas Tuchel's efforts last season when the boss remained a rare beacon of stability.

"Thomas Tuchel has done an incredible job, especially last season under the circumstances," Chelsea's performance and technical director told Hayters TV.

"Everybody saw how well he handled the situation. I hope he can continue like that."

It's not a surprise to hear such words from Cech, as Tuchel is held in high esteem across the club hierarchy, including the new club owners.

It's been reported that the German will have 'full control' over football decisions under Todd Boehly as the owner.
