Real Madrid Could Set Record By Having 9 Players Nominated For Ballon D'or

According to OKDiario, up to nine Real Madrid players could be nominated for the 2022 Ballon d'Or. The full list of 30 nominees will be revealed on August 12.

Real Madrid already know that Karim Benzema, Vinicius Junior, Luka Modric and Thibaut Courtois will get the nomination.

Besides them, Eder Militao, Toni Kroos, Casemiro and Fede Valverde have good chances of making it on to the list.

In case all nine players get the nomination, Real Madrid will be setting a new record. The previous record of eight nominations belongs to the Merengues as well, and it was set in 2018.
