Marcelo, Real Madrid's current captain, is set to leave the club this summer as his contract expires on June 30.
This means that Karim Benzema will become the first captain starting with the next season.
The next in line would be Nacho, Luka Modric and Dani Carvajal.
As per traditions in Spain, the captaincy goes to the player that has been the longest at the club.
