Barca are hoping to secure the signing of the striker before the start of their own pre-season training in the second week of July.

Despite securing an agreement on personal terms with Lewandowski, the La Liga giants are struggling to finalize a deal with Bayern – who are adamant not to sell the striker in the summer.
