Jules Kounde prioritises Barcelona's offer despite interest from Chelsea, reports Mundo Deportivo's Fernando Polo.
The Frenchman is also Xavi's favourite for the centre-back position.
Barca's reported plan is to offer Sevilla a 'cash-plus-player' deal. Kounde's price tag is said to stand at around €60m.
The 23-year-old has been an important squad member for both Sevilla and France's national team. Kounde could also play at right-back if needed.
