Napoli coach Luciano Spalletti is demanding they do not sell Barcelona target Kalidou Koulibaly.
Spalletti cannot contemplate the squad without Koulibaly. The coach is willing to resign if the club end up selling the Senegalese defender.
The Corriere dello Sport say the coach cannot accept the player leaving.
“You sell him? A second later, I resign," is how the paper explained Spalletti's thinking.
Napoli want to fight for the title and the coach believes the defender is a key part of any chance of that. He has eight years experience at Napoli and a superb track record at the heart of the defence.
