Tuchel tells Chelsea he's 'keen for Dembele reunion', Barca unlikely to improve their renewal offer

As per the reliable Ben Jacobs of CBS Sports, Ousmane Dembele's situation will 'become clearer later this week'.

The winger's contract with Barcelona expires on June 30 and at the moment, he has no inclination to renew his deal with the La Liga side.

Thomas Tuchel has told Chelsea that 'he is keen on a reunion with the winger', who he worked with at Borussia Dortmund.

Paris Saint-Germain are not believed to be in the race right now. Jacobs added: "Barca is unlikely to improve their offer not necessarily unlikely to keep him.

"Xavi wants him to stay and the club are hoping the lack of suitors, plus Chelsea’s current lack of formal offer, might make them able to play hardball and get him to sign the deal they have offered."

Last season, Dembele finished as La Liga's leading assist man, getting 13 of them in just 15 starts.
