What a week: Robertson and Scotland to miss World Cup after Ukraine loss

Andy Robertson and Scotland will miss the World Cup 2022 as they were defeated 3-1 in the semi-final of their play-off game against Ukraine.

Yarmolenko and Yaremchuk fired Ukraine into a two-goal lead before Callum McGregor halved the deficit with 10 minutes to play.

Scottish hearts were broken in the 95th minute as Artem Dovbyk scored for Ukraine ending all hope for Scotland.

"Personally, it’s been the toughest 10 days of my football career, of course it has been. Emotionally, mentally, physically, everything. So it’s not been great," said Robertson after the loss.

“But to be honest I will deal with that myself, I will go away and think about that myself."
